When: July 26,27,28
Where: Allegheny River from Franklin to Emlenton
Cost: $10- $15 per person
Itinerary:
Friday: Drive to franklin run shuttles and relax and camp.
Saturday: Break camp, load boats and paddle to Danners Rest campground
Sunday: Break camp, paddle to Emlenton, load boats and return home.
Expected return time: Late afternoon but its hard to pinpoint a time because of river currents, paddling speed, stopping at interesting places etc.

YOUR GEAR MUST FIT IN YOUR BOAT AND HAVE ROOM FOR YOUR SHARE OF THE GROUP GEAR!!!! THERE ARE NO SHOWERS, NO ELECTRICITY!! WE ARE GOING TO BE TEARING DOWN AND PACKING UP DAILY! WE WANT TO TRAVEL LIGHT TO PREP FOR FUTURE TRIPS THAT MIGHT REQUIRE A MILE PORTAGE!
Life vest with a whistle, vest must be coast guard approved and fit properly!!!

Packing can be done in a dry bag that fits in a kayak, 5 gallon bucket if you will be in a canoe or a contractor bag that is rolled at the top and clipped with spring clips. Your sleeping bag, clothes and towel are all that really need to be kept dry.
Menu: This is the food we will be providing, If you have food preferences it is your responsibility to bring your own food!!

Sat Lunch: Pizza
Sat Dinner: Chicken quesadillas and rice
Sun Breakfast: Oatmeal
Sun Lunch: Tortilla thangz (tortillas with peanut butter, jelly, bannana)
This trip will be a little different than the last Kinzua trip because we will be breaking camp every day and moving on. But it should be a lot of fun!!!!
